Sitting in 2009
Frequently Asked Questions
We're
now looking for sitters for the 2009 Season! What could be better than
spending your Saturday with "motivated" individuals raising
money for charity in a stationary fashion? Not much is the
correct answer.
What does it entail to be a sitter? Again, not much. We need
our sitters to come to the event for as long as they are able to
manage, gather sponsorships before the event, and generally have
a positive attitude about raising money for Camp Hope, sitting,
and putting up with people around you sitting. It is
extremely difficult to put into writing in a convincing manner
how much fun the event is and can be, but every year our
participation increases and we retain most of the previous
year's sitters. It has to mean something good!
If you would like to sign up to participate in this year's Sit-A-Thon, please fill out the form to the right of this
message. Please let your friends and family know about this event,
and encourage them to either sit or donate. Help us to make this year's Sit-A-Thon the most
successful yet and continue our trend of greater donations to
charity every year. Be sure to check out our tool kit to

and incentives for impressive fund raising efforts!
